Documentary photography usually refers to a popular form of photography used to chronicle significant and historical events. It is typically covered in professional photojournalism, or real life reportage, but it may also be an amateur, artistic, or academic pursuit. - Create a slide in your PowerPoint called Documentary Photography.
- Write a paragraph in your own words explaining what documentary photography is.

- Take a moment to look at the images, then choose one image that interests you the most.
- Save the image and then upload it to your weebly page.
- Discuss the following points on your Weebly page about your chosen picture:
- What do you know about the image?
- When was it taken? Is it a recent image?
- Who is the photographer?
- What is the subject of the photograph?
- Is the photograph staged or did it 'capture a moment'?
- Describe what is happening in the photograph? If there is a description use this to help you.
- How does the photograph make you feel? Describe your feelings in detail not just 'happy' or 'sad'.
- Can you find any more information on the internet to help you understand what was going on at the time?
