Rule of Thirds
The rule of thirds is a principle which can be useful when composing Photographs and other types of visual media. It helps add balance and order to your images. Although every photographer should understand the rule of thirds they do not always need to use it.
To use the Rule of Thirds you have to divide you viewfinder into three equal horizontal and vertical sections. The easiest way to do this is to imagine the grid as seen below:

Once you can imagine the grid you can then use it to arrange key elements in your image. Such as the main subject and horizon see the examples below:
Task
1. Create a new page called 'Rule of Thirds' under Skills and Theory.
2. Go and take at least 4 very different images using the rule of thirds.
3. Open your images in photoshop and draw the Rule of Thirds Grid.
